While I believe with all of my heart and soul the scheming Demnuggets are trying to steal this election -I will confess
one thing here. At one point my signature card at a bank had five different signatures. Over the years I've narrowed it down to two but they are distinct from each other.

I'm left handed and a bit artistic so have played with everything from scribbles to slanting it to the left to straight up and down.

I always go to the precincts to vote.

Sounds like a 14th Amendment "consistency" issue to me. We're so late in the game that only a revote (or runoff) would decide this properly.

I'm into mandatory verification of some kind, fingerprint or biometric is fine by me. It might discourage voting by illegals.

Yeah, well I have at least 4 variants - some w/ initials and the last name depends on my patience and desire for elegance...

Yeah, well I don't understand how illegals are able to vote (I'm obviously new here and I also would like to read more about this) - but I really think it's a good idea to use more than a signature...

I know this pust is late but I talked recently with one of the top clinical and research pediatricians in Costa rica and this is what she said about elections. First, she was appalled at how loose our system is. She was at the breakfast table with me at a Washington DC Hilton at an International Conference on the Wednesday after the Presidential Election and heard the waiter, unasked, declare that he was a Muslim from Sudan, came and went as he pleased for money, was not and never intended to be a US citizen and he had voted, just as Americans, for Kerry. He said he simply went "where the people told us to go and we all voted for Kerry". In Costa Rica it is the voter's responsibility to go to the precinct and register and vote. All registration must be completed 60 days before an election or you don't vote. Period. It is also the responsibility of the voter to ensure any changes of residence or name are officially relayed to the precinct and are checked to make sure everything is correct...or don't vote! She said that the attitude in Costa Rica was that every eligible person could vote if they showed the personal responsibility to properly register and then to vote in the correct precinct with the proper photo identification and registration information matching the precinct records required. She said there seemed to be little of either voter fraud or disenfranchisement of responsible people. Those not responsible enough to follow the rules as everyone else should not vote anyway.

Maybe we should go to Costa Rica for lessons in personal responsibility in voting. This would be a primer course for Democrats.

P.S. I voted absentee in Virginia, one of the "tightest states" and they did not have a clue who I was as they did not even want any ID until I forced an advertisement with a name on it on them and they said " That's fine that's all we need."

I raised hell in the registrar's office in Charlottesville VA but you know Charlottesville, vying with Chapel Hill as the Berkeley of the East coast.

Washington State Republicans need to start a grassroots movement for ID checks at the polls on election day.

This fiasco has opened up this window of opportunity. Someone's got to do it.

Other states check ID at the polls. Why doesn't Washington?

"Three points of signature verification"?

Please!

That's like asking a retard to make sure that everyone who comes into a bar "looks 21."

It's crap, and the dems know that it's crap.

It just makes it easier for them to steal elections.
