I am currently in my thirtieth year as the Senior Pastor of the Crossroad Baptist Church (Independent) in Pensacola, Florida. (Independent)? Does that mean like you're the only one who attends it?

I vote for candidates that are going to support a representative government not a preacher.
Churches just aren't the place to run wars or represent a diverse population

We are admonished in Isaiah, "Touch not GOD's anointed". That's good enough for me.Not good enough for me. You are misinterpreting that passage. It is not applicable to anyone alive today. I've heard plenty of fundie pulpit hogs spouting that line to convince their 'sheeple' that the laymen should not question the fundie pulpit hog about his agenda.

I don't think you can lump so many people into one group and label them like this. One thing that does bother me is seeing conservative republicans agreeing or giving the president a pass when he does something that goes against our beliefs. One example is the way he's handling our border and the immigration issues. There are some who wouldn't say a word if he ended up giving amnesty and drivers licenses to illegal immigrants and that is wrong.Conservatives give support to those who represent our beliefs but if they go against those beliefs they should be held accountable. If we were to just worship any man or woman because of the political party they belonged to,it would make us no different than the liberals.

I wonder how he explained his support of abortion to the little children sitting in the pews?!! Odd, I just heard Carter interviewed the other day and he clearly said he was against abortion.

We didn't get here in a day, and we won't get back in a day.Correct, but the implied corollary is not. With things like CFR, Prescription welfare for seniors, appointment of pro-abortion attorney general, near total chaos on our Mexican border, etc., it's going to take even longer--if we ever can--to even get back to where we were before Bush took office, never mind to where we were before his daddy took office. No, we are going in the WRONG direction, just slower than the alternative.

My apologies.
I'm usually hanging out here in the day time. Just mentioning the Mr. Bush could be in the wrong will get you a fairly severe tongue lashing. There are a few of us who hold our own, but not many.
Cordually,

just slower than the alternative.
I'm not so sure it's slower, just different.

Have you ever truely thought... about this:
I think ... you better decide ... if you BELIEVE Christ ...or not.
To: ambrose
I Am NOT A Conservative Christian, And The Religious Right does not scare me one tiny little bit.
And by the way, haven't you noted the ever growing persecution of Christians in the USA, Mr. Chuck Baldwin? Put a tampon in your lying, girlie-man mouth, you freeking disgrace.

I think a lot of folks are just so glad not to have a garbage heap in the White House that they quit thinking about what is good for the nation, and are only concerned with winning. Yep...as long as it's not a Democrat who is President, that's all that really matters.
Lesser of two evils, and all that.

For a professed Christian to publically attack another Christian .. very dangerous. We are admonished in Isaiah, "Touch not GOD's anointed".
Way...WAY out of context.
This line sounds more like a line from our enemies over in Iraq.
