Well, I've been out carolling tonight with my Light Opera Society...and we made €2,602 tonight (that about $3,200). Not a bad nights work.
We've been carolling for the last week or so, and we have over €10,000 collected, which we donate to Meals on Wheels (the main beneficiary) and a couple of other local charities.
Last year we made €16,000..and with a week to go, we should beat that! *S*.
It's so good that singing CHRISTMAS...yes, those CHRISTmas carols, can benefit local charities. *S*
