We're invaded and conquered. Martial law is imposed. The worst atrocities occur regularly against the citizens. What's the ACLU going to do then? Sue them? Petition them??
Tell them it's all fine and good unless the dictators try to mention the word "god" or suggest that homosexuality isn't the same thing as heterosexuality.
