I however, have had a positive experience. One of my roomates last semester is a Muslim woman from Afghanistan...She was not silent, she was on our side. As are others that I have met.

Anecdotal in the extreme. That in no way can be extrapolated onto a larger scale.

Never suggested that it could be extrapolated. And it shouldn't be. Someone provided an anecdote of a negative experience, so I provided one. I'm just saying, there are some good ones out there, that's all. And some of them are helping-and others are more likely to listen to them. I also consider some friends, even if we don't share the same religion, and those friends do not mean any non-Muslims harme. That is why I am reacting to comments about ALL Muslims. However, my arguemnts against policies such as deportation and internment are based on our national security and strategic interests. I believe they would hurt, rather than help. As someone else pointed out, such policies are not being seriously considered in Washington, so I guess I'm wasting my time...thank God they are not, because they would not be sound policies, and God bless America and the values that make us great.
