It is possible one or more Mongols who ruled most of Afghanistan (or at least the better parts of the Silk Road) may have actually been Jewish.

It is a common practice in parts of Afghanistan which were ruled directly by Mongol overlords to place a mezuzah on the door post.

That and the presence of folks with blond hair are among some of the great mysteries of that distant land.

Possible? OK. Yeah, sure, I suppose. And one or two could possibly have been space aliens or wherewolves, too. It's probably best to just stick to history books and ongoing archaeological research.
