Bush won Ohio by 136,483 votes. All of those votes can’t be contributed to Franciscan University, but they could be attributed to the Catholic vote overall.

Should have left it at the first quote, but that would have made a short article that fails to take credit for the Bush win.

Although there were many contributing factors, the fact is that the president would not have been reelected if it were not for the swing in Ohio's Catholic vote over the previous election. This victory did not result from the efforts of a single man but rather hundreds of thousands of committed volunteers and millions of conservatrive voters (many of them Catholic). This articles rightly recounts the efforts of several Ohio Catholics who contributed to this victory. Credit needs to be shared now or next time the effort won't be.
