Israel has chosen not to fight and as such will be Muslim Palestine shortly.

Sorry, but I refuse to accept your idea of our fate. IDF soldiers fight every day whether you realize it or not. Free Republic is interesting. In one threat I have to defend Israel against charges of "indiscriminate murder" and in another we aren't fighting and killing enough.

Maybe she was using that newly invented Palestine Warp Drive and traveling at WARP FACTOR .000000001?

OK, so maybe I'm off by a few zeros!

Yes, I notice that too. there is a 'kill 'em all' faction on these matters that doesnt acknowledge what we are doing. And then in the ugliness of war, there are always the folks with 20/20 hindsight ... and on this case, I have be on the 'it was unjustifed and wrong' camp.

I understand. The same thing happens among FReepers regarding the US and Bush. We have fights between the "bots" [my use of the term for those who can not think for themselves..who take anything posed by the President or the RepublicRat party as gospel and truth, regardless of its threat to our sovereignty or security] and real conservatives here all the time on things like immigration and terror.

The bots think unlimited immigration/amnesty is good for business, they fail to see the hypocrisy of a President who espouses "security" and yet fails to control the border purely because he doesn't want to insult any potential voters, and they disagree with the position that we aren't doing ENOUGH to fight terror [we are too PC, i.e the delay in the main fallujah assault which resulted in many soldiers deaths while we played around for wees and pulled back, failing to take out NK before they armed themselves with nukes and next Iran]..nor do they see the hypocrisy of placing more and more restrictions on our liberty as CITIZENS here at home, while allowing the real bad guys [islamonazis in our midst and illegals] to exist unhindered.

The inconsistencies are amazing.

Since this is a forum on opinions, you are likely to run into posts with different ideas in them. I would say that most posts at FR support Israel.

I certainly support Israel and its right to defend itself. The IDF probably has the hardest security job in the world. The main stream media never gives credit to the IDF, but will persucate them unmercilessly in cases like this thread talks about.
