"Allo. My name is Yolanda Braswell. You killed my father. Prepare to die."
Hmm. Doesn't quite work...

You don't know that. They could be Bulgarians. Yeah, they could.
Then again, I wonder how you say Latecia and Yolanda in Bulgarian?

I think this is what happens when you watch "Kill Bill" one too many times.... LOL.
Both women Latecia Damita Anderson [Death Adder] and Yolanda Nicole Braswell [Mojave Rattlesnake] were charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

Er, is it *ahem* warm in here, or is it just me.

I am still trying to figure out why a bystander would have a sword. I mean, I don't know about you guys but where I live you see very few people carrying swords these days. Not like it is an everyday item of apparal. Maybe it was a setup. Someone heard the one gal was bringing a Machete so a friend brought a sword just in case. Always be prepared.

I'm surprised she hasn't showed up on this thread.
Maybe she's out settling some scores at the bus stop. ;^)

"redneck action", Don't think so. Label me a racist pig, but sounds more like homegirls to me.

Actions, not names, is the focus of my statement.

Regarding swords as "an everyday item of apparal(sic)" and the fact you don't see them in your neighborhood.
Perhaps you are living in a ghetto for the poor.
Clearly what we are seeing here is one of the great cyclical movements in history where the elite nobles of the culture express their status by the classic method of wearing and utilizing short swords.
However, in an inversion of gender roles in keeping with liberal philosphies, it is the females who become expert masters of the "code duello" --while the males look on passively in support, cheering their champion on with cries of "you go, girl" and "cut that ho three ways--horizontally, vertically and continually."
(Take me now, Lord, I've seen enough of the 21st century)

"Anderson got off the bus, and a nearby person gave her a sword," said Pipkin, adding that it wasn't clear who gave Anderson the sword.
??? People commonly carry swords in Rocky Mount???

LOL.
I have lived here on and off for 30+ years, and I can emphatically say NO.

Just the kind of publicity you guys need! ;)
I remember last year when a couple of chunkheads from my apartment building made it into the news. They were roller coaster aficionados and the woman apparently decided it would be a good idea to stand up during a ride -- and fell *splat* to the ground and died.
