Does your flat tax impose a tax upon the wages which labor has earned?

___ with all these blessings, what more is necessary to make us a happy and a prosperous people? Still one thing more, fellow-citizens—a wise and frugal Government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government, and this is necessary to close the circle of our felicities__. Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural Address

I support the Founding Father's original tax plan, see EXPOSING THE FAIR TAX HOAX ___ scroll down and start reading at:

What's "fair" about an involuntary payment? What's "fair" about a government agent forcing me at the point of a gun not only to disclose my earnings, but also to give up a portion of those earnings? I'll tell you what's fair - voluntary taxes.

The only fair tax is the flat tax.

Wrong.

Income taxes, flat or otherwise, are fundamentally flawed from their very inception.

If you go out into the pasture, find a big fat juicy cowpie and flatten it, it is still a cowpie.

Would that be a flat tax with or without the payroll tax?

Keep in mind that the Payroll tax is anything but flat.

And even if we exclude the Payroll Tax question, the flat tax is still regressive and NOT flat. All corporate taxes (including compliance costs) are embedded in the price of goods. Those at the lower end of the economic totem pole consume more as a percentage of their income.

The only true flat tax is the FairTax! People can decide what tax rate they are willing to pay.

Indeed, the only fair tax is the FLAT TAX. And if we don't get EVERYONE Paying we will be taxed to death. If everyone in the country were to be taxed, say at the godly rate of 10%, when there was an attepmt to raise taxes, the whole country would go bonkers, not just those who are producing as is the case now. The problem now is that so few of us are paying so much of the tax burden, those who don't pay taxes can simply vote themselves a pay raise (benefits raise) by voting into office the liberal Democrats who will prostitute themselves in any way they can to stay in power...

FLAT TAX, let's get behind it!
