I would say that this position is nonsensical and self-refuting.
If indeed God exists - God as the unmoved mover/first cause as derived from scientific inquiry - He is the fundamental cause of every "law" of nature. He law is not just "thou shall not kill" but also "the force of gravity is proportionate to the mass of an object." If you believe in God, the "law" of God is inescapable.
