I was being sarcastic. Now, if a sober man walks out in front of a car and gets killed and the driver had just consumed two beers, yes alcohol was involved but was it a true factor in the death of the pedestrian, probably not.
You are arguing with the wrong person. It is my opinion that if you have sniffed a wet wine cork, you have no business driving. I have zero tolerance or sympathy for those who drive with any, and I mean ANY, alcohol in them. Drink it at home, or have someone take your keys before you pop the top. I won't even use cough syrup if I'm going to drive.
I consider it reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon, and if I had my way, a first conviction would be a felony and carry a mandatory 10 year prison sentence and a lifetime revocation of driving privileges.
For some reason, I was dismissed from a DWI jury panel when I told the judge my views. I don't know why.
