I read the local liberal free weekly on the train, and this morning in Ft. Lauderdale, I saw the following comic strip that, while typically bashing conservatives, I found quite funny.
Anyways, I thought it was kinda funny, it had me giggling on the train, sort of the "evil mad scientist with a plan" giggle..
Speak for yourself.
I find it funny too. And I rarely find his stuff humorous.
It will be closer to the truth when GWB sends his "Judge-bots" in to rescue the courts!
Our local liberal rag replaced Max Cannon's "Red Meat" comic with this "Modern World" garbage.
Now I only read it for the letters to the editor. It makes me laugh and fear for our future at the same time.
There are some real stupids out there!
We get that cartoon in our local liberal rag... You know, the one with ads in the back for "men seeking men" and "women seeking couples" etc. (barf) between the tattoo advertisements (not that I have anything against tattoos, just saying.. )
Anyway I do have to grudgingly laugh at it sometimes. I remember once, I think it featured Rumsfeld plotting against the moon.. saying "look at it up there just leering at us.. we need to take it out.." LOL..
Guy is a loon.
I thought it was hilarious! I know they hate us, but when something's funny, it's funny. It's a great gift to be able to laugh at one's self. Yet something else that we could teach the Left if they'd only listen.
Well, at least he can color better than Ted Rall...
Which is fine, since I laugh at liberals a lot, thus making up the difference. :o)
Only liberals would believe that those who shape the minds and opinions of our young people have no power.
That's pretty much why I regularly visit DU, The Nation and Salon.
Oh, and I can laugh at cartoons like this. In fact, I don't hate liberals. I just do not believe they should be in charge. C'mon, we need transgendered vegetarians holding peace marches in Berkeley for the entertainment value alone!
Sounds like conservative radio hosts to me.
Thot it was kinda stupid. Guess i'm humor-impaired.
They forgot the Disloyal Liberal-Biased Media.
Here is my favorite Bush-bashing movie:
I know its supposed to be a devastating indictment of George Bush, but it cracks me up everytime I watch it.
I think its funny because, though we control all branches of government now, supposedly, we still feel our free speech stifled at every turn. I can't scan this in but here's a Dilbert from the other day:
Worker: The great thing about Free Speech is that I can criticize the government.
Boss: I'd fire you.
Worker: I mean outside of work.
Boss: I'd fire you for that too.
Worker: May I express enjoyment of my pastry?
Boss: Sure, it's a free country.
