SGLI was $100,000 when I was in over 10 years ago. Has it disappeared?

I don't believe so, but Imus's problem is that the soldiers have to pay a 20 dollar monthly premium in order to get it. If they don't participate, they won't get it.

I hate Imus's rants but in this situation he is correct. We, the tax payers should cover the $20 per month premium to guarantee the $250,000 payout for our military men and women lost in combat.
The present payout of $12,000 is total BS

Well, howdy doody... I keep getting all these flyers about Term Life up to 1 million dollar death benefit. Only one problem-YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT.

SAme goes for that fancy car down on the local dealers lot.

Fer chripes sake what a world of whiners. Military Personel have always had a chance to purchase life insurance. No body buys mine for me.

What's next, a Constitutional right to Free Cable vision?
