Can't say I like Aiken's music, but it's just not my style. I appreciate him trying to maintain a clean image and, from what I've seen, being an all-around decent guy.

Thanks for the recommendation - I'm a fan of Clay's........... but if you can even carry a tune at all, American Idol might drive you crazy......... I enjoy the show but it can grate on you horribly!
Each season there are only a very few kids with real talent - the others are there just to fill in the space....... and it hurts, literally, to listen to them sing.

I'm addicted to Rebecca St. James's rendition of Sweet Little Jesus Boy, and SheDaisy's Hark The Herald Angels Sing/Carol of the Bells. I play them every day.

Hehehe. Clay Aiken. Hehehe.
When he was on American Idol, I told a female friend of mine, "Oh, look... K.D. Lang is performing." She bought it until she saw Paula and the gang.
They look and sound like each other.
But I will give him that he has talent and seems like a decent enough guy.
Is it Clay, or KD?

Is it Clay, or KD? You never see them in the same place at the same time--like Clark Kent and Superman.

Yeah, but at least THEY dress differently.

Since I never watched the program, I can't say. But I have seen some early photos. I thought he looked like Opie. So weird hearing that voice come out of that that face!

I've heard a lot about that CD and will have to check it out. Here's another recommendation:
Christmas Spirit I got it just a few weeks ago and it is one the best Christmas albums -- and it is fairly inexpensive, too. Good covers of classic songs, plus a few originals. There are links to listen to samples of all of the tracks.

Good lord, Donna Summer! Is she still around? Her version of "Oh Holy Night" was a knock-out.

By the way, here's a
