Shots at Kissufim bridge; 2 wounded

Two people were lightly wounded Wednesday night when terrorists fired shots at the Kissufim Bridge, in the central Gaza Strip.
Earlier, two Palestinian gunmen spotted crawling towards the Kissufim crossing, the main access road leading to Gush Katif settlements were shot and killed by soldiers on Wednesday night.
IDF Spokesman officials said soldiers spotted the two approaching the road and opened fire, hitting both.
The rapid response of the soldiers prevented the assailants from attacking soldiers and Israeli vehicles who travel on the road.
On November 21, an armed Palestinian gunman was shot and killed and another wounded in the same area when spotted by soldiers approaching the road. At the time the Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility.
Also Wednesday evening, Palestinians fired three mortar shells at Neve Dekalim in the southern Gaza Strip.
There were no injuries and no damage was caused.

4 Israelis shot, wounded near Gaza's Kissufim Crossing

Four Israelis were wounded Wednesday night when two Palestinian gunmen fired shots at a vehicle driving near the Kissufim Crossing, in the central Gaza Strip.
According to initial reports one of the armed Palestinians was killed by IDF gunfire. The other fled the scene.
Kissufim is the main crossing used by residents of the Gush Katif settlement bloc. The vehicle was driving on the Mor Bridge, which was built to safeguard Israelis that use the road.
