The complaining parent, an attorney who has not been publicly identified, asked that the holiday carol be dropped from the program, even though songs about other religious holidays, such as "The Dreidel Song" and "Kwanzaa's Here," were included.
These idiots don't care about keeping religion out of schools, they just care about eliminating *Christianity*.

Yes, but given the choice between being in the side of liberals, or the side of God, it appears God wins in the long run... :)

A view of the original altar from the St. Nicholas Church in Oberndorf (Austria)where "Stille Nacht" was first performed.
The world's most famous Christmas song, "Silent Night," comes to us from Austria (Österreich in German). Called "Stille Nacht" in its original German, this beautiful Christmas carol is now sung and enjoyed around the world in hundreds of languages, even at E.H. Slaybaugh Elementary School.

I am a conservative Jew and I love all the holiday songs. My advice to the secularists that want to eliminate Judeo/Christian songs from educational programs is, don't listen. It's a free country and you are free to have your own program. The other option is to include non-denominational songs into the holiday program.
I thought Liberals were the party of the inclusive.

Kwanzaa is a religious holiday? What religion? The religion of murder, torture and violent overthrow of the government for a Marxist state. Now, isn't that wonderfully tolerant and understanding of us?

From http://www.tike.com/celeb-kw.htm
DEFINITION OF KWANZAA Kwanzaa is a unique African American celebration with focus on the traditional African values of family, community responsibility, commerce, and self-improvement. Kwanzaa is neither political nor religious and despite some misconceptions, is not a substitute for Christmas. It is simply a time of reaffirming African-American people, their ancestors and culture. Kwanzaa, which means "first fruits of the harvest" in the African language Kiswahili, has gained tremendous acceptance. Since its founding in 1966 by Dr. Maulana Karenga, Kwanzaa has come to be observed by more than18 million people worldwide, as reported by the New York Times. When establishing Kwanzaa in 1966, Dr. Karenga included an additional "a" to the end of the spelling to reflect the difference between the African American celebration (kwanzaa) and the Motherland spelling (kwanza).

Kwanzaa, is anti-whitey. That's what it's founders said.

You know better than to have ever believed Liberalism was "inclusive". Besides, if you hang around after services and listen to them talk, you will find the secular Liberals who make a great pretense of being religious people by attending prayers, are far from it.
Best bet is to find new friends.
