Every bar fight is started by someone who decides that someone else isn't following what he considers the "common view" of what is moral.

For crying out loud. You don't know what your talking about. Drunks have no common sense or moral views. I know of cases where people have been stabbed to death in a bar for looking at someone. Other cases where a drunk was tossed out, came back with a freaking rifle and put holes in three totally innocent people.

Sober people who are easily offended act just as belligerent as drunks when they believe they are disrespected. One of the fastest ways to disrespect them is to use bad language in their presence.

Yes, people do stupid things when they allow themselves to become offended by another's behavior. Most of us can restrain ourselves if we are not drunk. Apparently some FReepers cannot, and even worse, don't want to.
