One of the few times the insanity defense worked for a defendant.....



Whoops...... my bad

The jury didn't accept the insanity defense and found her guilty of capital murder but chose life rather than death... sheesh don't know what I was thinking. I guess it was about the one up in East Texas that killed her children with rocks... I think that jury bought the insanity defense.

The Laney case in East Texas is where the jury bought the insanity defense.

And she's eligible for parole since Texas doesn't have Life without Parole.
