I take it from your post that you do not believe the immigration buck - which is FEDERAL policy - stops with our President? And tell me what your elected Senators Boxer and Feinstein positions on that Federal policy should be.

See, senators are in the legislative branch of the government and the president is the chief executive of the government. It's not up to senators to enforce existing laws, that's Bush's job (until Jan 2009).
