KP-90

My only complaint is that the plastic grip can wobble a bit. After I tweaked it awhile, it's much better.

At the range it's fantastic.

Ammo is everything. RBCD ammo will stop anything, and usually kills with one shot.

It's a pity the reporter didn't ask Sarah Brady for a comment on the story.

Didn't have to ask her. She would condemn "vigilante" justice and tell everyone how the reason for this crime is that gun control "just didn't go far enough*" and that if we had "sensible" gun control laws like England there would be no crime. Sara Brady and her ilk could be replaced with tape recorders ceaslessly calling for more regulations and no one would know the difference.

* "Far enough" for Sara Brady, upChuck Schemer and the other Democrats is total civilian disarmament with life in prison for possession of so much as a single round of ammo.

In Virginia carrying a concealed handgun, even with a permit, is prohibited in restaurants and clubs with a license to serve alcohol. There will be a bill introduced in the General Assembly this January to repeal that prohibition.

Actually, they told me up front at the sheriff's office that my electronic prints were not coming out properly and so they attached a letter stating that that was the best they could do.

About a month later, Tallahassee sent back the print card stating that *where* the prints were taken was not filled out. I couldn't believe it. They had a letter from the sheriff's office that was attached to the card, but the address portion of the card was not filled out.

*I* filled it out and sent it back. Still waiting. Meanwhile, .45MAN had his permit within 6 weeks. So, the system can run smoothly when it wants to. I'm aggravated, but there isn't a whole lot I can do.

Yes, but the state loves their malum prohibitum victimless crimes against the state. That way they don't have to passively wait for victims to petition government, but rather can actively troll for more profitable, forfeitable evidence. In any system, tell me how one is measured and I'll tell you how they'll behave.

Nice gun. Some of my gun buddies tell me that Ruger P-90's are ultra-reliable, and will 'eat' just about any type of ammo ya feed it. Will definitely check out the new P-345.

Thanks for the input.

I've got a Ruger P-89 9mm. It doesn't like cheap chinese ammo, but shoots everything else. The sights are worthless for accurate shooting--shoots low and to the left. But in point-and-shoot combat shooting it can put 13 rounds in the torso portion of the target and 2 in the head at 25 yards, so for guys under 200 lbs, it's a keeper. For over 200 to 250, I'll use the Beretta Vertec 40 caliber. Bigger than that get the Taurus 44 mag.

My Kel-Tec .32 (bug gun) hates chinese ammo. My 1911 .45 eats it right up.

"The sights are worthless for accurate shooting--shoots low and to the left."

That's a bummer. If you're doing your part (good technique), ya probably need a sight adjustment.

"But in point-and-shoot combat shooting it can put 13 rounds in the torso portion of the target and 2 in the head at 25 yards,...

Close enough (grin)

That's why I always carry a .40 (10mm) or .45
