Just because somebody teaches at a less well-known college does not mean they are less intelligent.
Perhaps they choose to do so.
I didn't say he was any less intelligent merely commented on the obscurity and status of the school he teaches at.
Generally that is a pretty good indicator of the quality of a teacher.
