Though not angry I have no respect for those who attempted to destroy the United States of America or their modern day defenders.

Nor are the writings and speeches of the Slavers a secret rather they are available for any who wish to read them and TO A MAN they clearly state their reason for secession was fear for slavery.

I am sure you will find anything in that book that confirms your mistakes is wonderful while that which stands up for the Truth is commie propaganda.

Again, you have a poor understanding of history if you think the only reasons for conflict are what people openly state.

The people on the battlefield did not mention slavery near as much; they mention the North's intrusion of their land. Some mentioned state's rights and the power of the north.

There are economic factors that play in, social factors that play in (bandwagon psychology etc.), cultural factors.

History is complex, sir.

You make it one dimensional.

A bit presumptuous are we?

I rather prefer to say that I have an open mind, and I am not so young or so senile as to claim to own "truth" exclusively in any sense of the word.
