Sounds like your children were fortunate to have you for parents!
We really tried to stay together but couldn't. Everyone we saw about it said the same thing, That I was a happy person who accepted life's challenges with a smile and optimism and that drove her crazy. We never had a physical fight but the arguments were too intense for me. I used to beg her to go fight with someone she hated. It finally became unbearable and I moved out.
