State-imposed atheism

This whole church-state debate is being miscast.

The degenerates at the American Civil Liberties Union will tell you they are trying to make sure government doesn't favor one religion over another when they hunt down Boy Scouts meeting on public property like they were war criminals.

Meanwhile, the other side in this debate makes a pathetic defense of the Scouts and other victims of his radical secular jihad.

This isn't a conflict over whose view of the First Amendment is correct. It's a conflict in which one side is doing exactly what it accuses the other side of doing – using the government to impose its religion and morality on others.

Let me tell you, there is no threat – no threat at all – that Christians or Jews will, any time soon, successfully impose their own divided faiths on anyone else with the help of the local, state or federal government. It just can't happen, not in the 21st-century, American socio-political climate.

And the ACLU knows this.

The ACLU is on offense, not defense.

The ACLU is not afraid of Christians. It knows they are easy, wimpy targets who don't fight back.

The ACLU doesn't really care about manger scenes, Ten Commandments monuments and other symbolic targets. Instead, they use these legal assaults to keep their enemies off-guard, on defense and from recognizing what the real agenda is.

What is the real agenda?

Well, I guess you could call it state-imposed, enforced, official atheism.

The ACLU and its allies actually don't mind their own belief system, their own "faith," their own religion being imposed through the government school systems. They don't mind that values and scientific theories in stark contrast to those of many Christians and Jews be endorsed by the state as holy writ. They don't mind that taxpayer treasuries are raided by judicial tyrants to support unconstitutional programs that violate the firmly held religious beliefs of tens of millions of Bible believers.

They don't mind any of these things. They love it. That's their goal. Their goal is to impose their will on the people through litigation and manipulation of a corrupt court system. They seek to strip the country and its people of all that made America great and different.

In short, they want to impose secular humanism as the official state religion – not only in Washington, not only in all 50 states, but in every local town in America.

What is secular humanism?

It is a religion, as the U.S. Supreme Court rightly confirmed many years ago, that puts man at the center of the universe. How do you put man in the center of the universe? By indoctrinating children for seven hours a day that God is irrelevant to their lives, by attacking any expression of Christian or Jewish faith in the public square, by pitting one faith against another and by marginalizing and persecuting believers in God.

Few recognize what the ACLU and its allies are doing.

They are radically transforming America from a Godly country to a humanist country.

That's what they mean by "separation of church and state." It's a purely divisive agenda render faithful Jews and Christians impotent, to separate them from the rest of society. As I have pointed out before, that's the real meaning of "separation of church and state."

The church is not a religion. It is not a denomination. It is not a corporation. It is a group of people with a certain belief system. Likewise, in a free republic like the one designed by our founders, the state is the people. We believe in a government "of the people, by the people and for the people."

So, what does it mean to "separate church and state" in a free republic of the people, by the people and for the people? It means to divide believers from non-believers.

The ACLU and its allies want to do this because it is the only way they can establish their own state "religion" of secular humanism.

There are only two ways this agenda can be fought. The ACLU must be exposed and destroyed and Christians and Jews need to unite politically to re-establish the just and righteous principles that made America great and good.

For some reason this article reminded me of the congressman whose district includes tiny Crawford, TX -- Chet Edwards, one of the most blatant secularists in Congress, yet elected again in a "safe" "conservative" district that includes College Station! Maybe people are more "secularist" than Joseph Farah thinks. Probably in Edwards' case, however, they put up with his secularism in hopes of getting some extra federal funds for projects here and there.

The ACLU promotes the lie of 'separation of church and state' while at the same time pushing 'the state' to promote/adapt the religion of 'atheism'...

It takes even more faith to believe God does not exist...then it ever could to believe that HE does not

imo

The ACLU was formed as the communist party USA's legal arm for pushing the usa to communism.

I think the ACLU's REAL history needs to be expanded. In fact I don't believe given the history of the ACLU that ANY lawyer should be allowed to keep a law license and be a member of the ACLU.
