As a kid growing up in the eighties with all the cold war scare tactics in the media, I remember always feeling safer knowing President Reagan was in charge, safer still that our two countries were so close, and Prime Minister Mulroney and the Mr. Reagan were so close as friends, and co-operated so closely together.

One can only hope that we will get a leader up here that will bring that closeness and co-operation back. There is no question that together, the U.S. and Canada will prosper as long as we co-operate, watch out for each other. We've got oil, water etc. in abundance, you've got the know-how and the military.
