Yeah I so can't wait to get home to the wife, WEAR MY LEVI'S, and buy my house.
Then I get to start a family, something I have been looking forward too since I first met my wife....

Oh man, I think you're right!
That film is so old school that I only remember the most fragmentary parts of the plot.
I gotta find the DVD, once I come into some cash.

LOl, it's funny watching the "hard core" suburban "yutes" . Pants too big, shoes not tied, yet, they try to project that bad ass look. It's really funny when it rains, they can't move quick enough to cross the street without having to hitch up their pants and mince through the crosswalk. Yeah boyyyy...

Not at my work. They have the "poor college kid in worn threads" look down pat. (Well, along with the Wranglers/Levi's and work cowboy boots)
It's an amazing hodge-podge.

I was hoping that penny loafers and khakis would be back when my kids hit their teen years.Wait...you mean penny loafers and khakis went somewhere? Dang! No wonder I've never been accused of being "hip" or "hop" or "fly" or "swim" or whatever...!
Penny loafers and khakis went away, huh?
Now you tell me...! :)

Ghetto chic may never go out of style in the outer boroughs of NYC, but it looks as though the rest of the nation is getting some fashion sense for a change.

I know, I know.
I had a momentary lapse, there.
Forgive me.
My head is packed with a thick, viscous mucous at the moment.
I'm not at the top of my game.

I am glad the urban gutter look/prison chic is going away.
I am grateful for the cable show "What Not To Wear." Stacy and Clinton are hip and young and a bit on the smart mouth side, but they are making it trendy to look clean cut and stylish.

No....you're supposed to wear Levis....just like a good gun-grabbing un-American leftist. If you wore Wranglers somebody might mistake you for a Conservative. What about those of us who wear Sergio Valente, Jordache, or Toughskins, the latter available in slim, medium or HUSKY of course! ;-)

Jeez, I still remember when North Williamsburg was a crappy Puerto Rican/Italian/Polish area, with the Satmar and blacks to the south. When the artistes from Alphabet City started hanging out at Teddy's in '90 is when it REALLY started going downhill.
Unfortunatly, the Trustafarians have spread their disease north into Greenpoint. I guess Ridgewood will be next!

Shoes Untied?
No WONDER the teens around town give me the stupid B**ch look when I stop them in public to let them know their shoes strings are untied!
Duh! LOL
