NY Eve has not been the same since Guy Lombardo passed on. I used to love watching his show and laughing at all those folks in their silly hats. Plus the "hokey" old music had its appeal. In recent years I have watched Dick Clark and thought he did a good job, though I would change the channel whenever the crappy music segments were on. This year I think Regis will do well.
