Therein lies the kicker - you or I can go hit a couple of mainstream stores - even just one store if it's a Fry's, CompUSA, or a well-stocked Best Buy, and build our own machine for a much better price.

It's not like a truck or car. I hate to see any company shut down or sell off production of a product, but when that product can be assembled by individuals for a much cheaper and quicker cost, and can be done locally...whatever type of product that is, that industry is going to have problems.
