Looks like one of those years when we Auburn grads can come out of the closet.
Imagine having gone to school in Auburn, as I did, when "Shug" Jordan was the coach and his secret weapon was punting on third down!
Shug was like Majors at Tennessee. Alabama fans loved Shug and Majors.
Punting on 3rd down, LOL! Dave Arslanian, former coach of Utah State, pulled that trick a couple of times, too. His awful clock management was also a neat trick. The opponents never knew what he would do next. Unfortunately, it usually favored them.
