What's with these NY cops? Baltimore had a commissioner, Norris, who came from NY, and used a slush fund to set up an apartment for trysts with his mistresses. He got caught, and is serving time. The next one, Clark, was accused of abuse with his girlfriend, and he still had a wife and kids in NY. He got fired, and tried to sue for false termination.

NY must have a different moral code than the rest of the country. I worked for publishing house, and the president of the company boldly strutted his 20 something mistress through the offices. His NY city mistress, while his wife and kids were in Connecticut.

It's hard to keep score without a scorecard these days.

Yep they do. It's the most liberal city in the most liberal state in the US, so the police there are more blatant in feeling that anything they do is OK.

Pinero and Kerik were deposed LAST WEEK and he accepted the Bush nomination almost simultaneously!

Thank goodness he stepped out of the way when he did. Sounds like he's going to be facing consequences for some time.
