I agree. I should have said "irresistible to some" or "almost irresistible."
The man was intended to be the one who says "NO" to a wrongful relationship. Males who expect women to say "NO" (but hope they won't) are subjugating themselves to the (potential lack of) discretion of the woman rather than showing backbone and integrity. Character matters.
