FR is really wonderful if you can get past the newbie suspicions we all have.
I was posting here a couple years ago...but I lost my password and ID....it was really convoluted....so when I came back....my first post was a little traumatic....but hey....I DO love it when a TROLL gets "Zotted"....ok so I am a little sadistic....LOL
maybe they thought I was someone else. I have noticed people on here who come on just to start an argument. I don't doubt that they are here perpetually under many aliases. It's sad that there are people who seem to have not other ambition in their lives except to devote their time to criticizing people with opposing opinions.
personally, I love engaging people who see things from the other side of the tracks.
My mother voted democrat this election, and we had some interesting discussions about it.
she's going to be retiring soon and is concerned about whether she is going to be able to depend on social security. she has a pension at her job but, is afraid it will not be there for her when she retires because, so many other companies are revoking them. for her it is an issue of survival in her old age.
I'm a pauper, and providing for my family has become much more difficult in the last few years. I can't afford to put any money aside for retirement but, the way i see it if things get worse in terms of the financial ability to support my family. that is something that can be corrected with future administrations. what good could anything the democrats have proposed doing during this past election be, it they pull back our troops and we suffer an onslaught of terrorist attacks, or god forbid, they actually suceed in an uprising from within(yes I believe we have many sleeper cells within our borders laying in wait for us to drop our guard.), and take over.
those things aren't any good to me if i'm dead, or our resources are too exhausted to provide for it because of a war inside out borders,or (GASP)islamic radical rule.
