You have to look at the audience. These guys are marketing a sort of chaos and it tends to attract some pretty chaotic (Psychotic) types. IMHO

Better publicists? How many stalkers do you think Madonna's people have nabbed?

Now see, I didn't even know Maiden'd had another lead singer than Bruce Dickinson. You learn something new every day.

Have you ever seen 20,000 drooling teeny-bopper girls screaming at the Backstreet Boyz? Given half a chance they'd tear every single one of them apart.
It's just humans. Bad seeds in every lot.

Me neither. Lost track of 'em back around '88.

Ex-IRON MAIDEN Singer PAUL DI'ANNO Attacked By Crazed Fan "Iron Maiden!"
"Bogus!"
To: reaganaut
I don't know which is scarier-people who are still upset that their Eighties metal heroes broke up, or the fact that some of these guys are still around and playing.
I hope Rob Halford is watching his @ss...

Di'anno was the singer in the early years, BEFORE Bruce. He was on the "Iron Maiden" and "Killers" albums.

And they had a change from Bruce to Blayze Bailey for brief time. I enjoyed his vocals on "X Factor" the follow-up "Virtual..." SUCKED!

What's really funny is that my first reaction was, "Hey! What happened to Joe Elliott?...oh, wait, never mind...."

I have no use for Blayze. Didn't like either album. But I was a Maiden fan before they became popular here in the States.

What is it, open season band members or something? Reminds me of the Looney Tunes where Daffy is trying to convince Elmer it's not duck season. Can't you just imagine Gene Simmons trying to convice a crazed fan "No it's not "Metal Season", it's "BoyBand Season".

I liked some tracks on "Brave New World" as well.
I think I overheard the new Maiden stuff with Bruce, how is it?

I'd venture to say that anybody who tries to attack Rob Halford had better watch their own ass...
