My 85 year old WWII veteran father gets frisked and wanded every time he flies. He has an artificial knee that sets the alarm off. It's a deeply humiliating experience for him. I wonder how many more innocent elderly have the same thing happen to them.
I was hoping Mineta would be the first cabinet member to be cashiered. He's missing the forest for the trees, and I fear it will cost us dearly.

The entire crux of the airline security issue...boiled down to one sentence, IMHO.
Its a result of not wanting to face up to the reality that certain types of individuals....on a PROBABILITY BASIS....are more likely to be carrying bombs than others.
