PS....we used to fly the Stars and Bars in Central Park back then for Mississippi Day and such lefty luminaries as Hodding Carter, Tom Wicker, and Willie Morris and others including darker hued folk would drop by and no one thought a thing of it. This kettle of koolaid about Southern chauvinism from which Aggie so lustfully imbibes is a relatively new invention wedge devised by our common foes....the Left.
My mother used to make curried venison then she'd boil the feet and ankles and make 'American sous'. Have fun at deer camp!
I knew a few, let's say, "eclectic" Mississippians who
migrated to NYC, as well. Pretty much the same type you
described, with the exception of Sela Ward. She definately
didn't go up there to become some rich, old fool's mistress.
"anyhoo....I'm off to deer camp (Port Gibson Miss) with the whole klan ...er...family ... tommorow."
LOL! Substitute a "C" for the "K" word, and it's okay. ;o)
Have a great trip. Ya' goin' huntin'? Does your oldest
son shoot yet?
