regardless of their fans, Johnny Ramone was a declared Republican and conservative...and the dead, despite their hippie status, never really delved into politics. I'm not a huge fan, but I can't recall any liberally-minded tunes of theirs, although i certainly understand anyone who draws a connection between songs inspired by hallucinogens and those with liberal beliefs.
