Correct as a business owner I will indeed use any excuse to disarm employees, since I have decided only myself and my employees who are also my relations may be armed on my property. It all boils down to the yahoos and gun slingers who think that since they went through all that trouble of procuring a CCW, they should have carte blanc to carry wherever they wish......gee too bad. Since I have no clue of the level of training an employee , or patron that has a CCW , and since many CCW courses are a laughable joke, I will not permit armed folk on my property, unless they are my relatives.

Where's the common sense in banning guns from locked cars?

A locked car is only locked until a pissed off or unstable employee goes out and unlocks it. Hope this isn't too confusing for you.

Not confusing at all. Common sense tells me you will use any excuse to justify disarming employees.

You seem to have a very primitive understanding of how guns work. Say that for every three gun carriers there is also one bad one. A non realistic proportion of bad ones. Then say that your bad employee opened fire. If you were the only one with a gun your odds of shooting him first would be much less than if there were also three others trying to stop him. Also, just by having everyone there with a gun is a deterrent. Would someone be more likely to rob someone who they knew has a gun and would protect themselves or someone they knew was away or unarmed? It is the same principle at work
