IF we start treating Christmas Day like every other day - - with the stores open and no sense of quiet, reflection and reverence - - - then WE'RE LIKE AN ISLAMIC COUNTRY ALREADY. They don't honor Christmas, either. SHAME ON SAFEWAY.
Um, more like an secular atheistic country. I'm against most businesses being open on Christmas, and other big holidays too for that matter... but I suspect Islamic countries are much more observant of their holy days, I bet if safeway was running under the Taliban, it would be quit dangerous to be open on Muslim holy days!
