To: Dog Gone
If Christendom is seriously threatened by a grocery store being open or not, then we all might as well convert to Islam immediately.

If its all the same to you, I think I'll take my advice on the restoration of Christendom from someone for whom it occurs to include worship on Christmas day (there'll still be time for your football game).

Those things aren't mutually exclusive in my household, but I wouldn't mind having a place open to pick up the whipped cream I may have forgotten for Christmas dinner desert.

Those Christians who are offended by Safeway being open would never go near one on Christmas Day anyway. If the very thought that someone else isn't celebrating Christmas in the same manner you are is offensive, then you are very easily offended, indeed. I can only imagine how ticked off you might be at your Jewish neighbors down the street.
