Christmas morning was always the special time for my family, but we'd celebrate it early on Christmas Eve if the work schedule ruled out the gifts that morning.
By Christmas afternoon, I'm looking for a football game to watch or to go shopping for something we forgot earlier.
I had a lot of friends at the hospital with kids at the time.
It all worked out.
