I can tell you from experience. Several years ago a kid shot me in the top of the head with a high powered BB gun.
I was in my backyard bending over to pick soemthing up and the little bastard shot me!! You can imagine my anger. I bled for a while but didn't think anything more until I started getting sick. I was having choking like symptoms, couldn't swallow, just weird stuff for about six months. Then one day I was scratching my head and felt a bump, you guessed it, the BB. I removed it and the sickness ended.
So...to answer your question, you don't ALWAYS know.
I hope you did a "Bud White" on him...Slammed his head into a toilet bowl then hung his ass outside the window of a high-rise.
Ha...we were typing the same story at the same time.
You guys are freaking me out! When I was in 3rd grade, a kid grabbed me from behind and shot a BB gun into my eye at point-blank range. I got really lucky in that it injured my eye but didn't blind me or have any long-term effects.
Now I'm sitting here thinking "what happened to the BB?" It can't possibly have entered my EYE and stayed in...could it? It never dawned on me until now that the BB could have done anything but bounced off!
We used to have BB gun fights. The rules were you had to wear safety goggles in case someone 'aimed' too high.
