The problem is that Federal judges have a little too much power. This particular one is a long time lefty whose removal (if it were possible) would be a good thing.

In San Angelo, Texas two place where homeless people gather are just a couple of hundred yards from each other. They are the entrance to the Wal-Mart parking lot and the entrance to the Lowes Hardware parking lot. The ones outside Lowes are looking for day work and they know that contracters, electricians, plumbers, landscapers get their supplies there and always have a day or two of work. If a person wants to do some honest work, I am all for it.

Typical scene of day laborers standing around on major streets, Urinating in public is common among day laborers. They are gathering in an area outside of HOME DEPOT a, couple miles form my house, we cannot arrest these people for ANY violation of municipal codes such lewd conduct , disrupting the flow of traffic, littering or public drunkenness, without being stopped by activists defence lawyers financed by some of the largest cooperations in the state.

Our constitutional rights as citizens are not being honored, Amendment IX of the bill of rights states: " The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people. "
Yet clearly this is not the case in Los Angleles and many border cities where these crimes are occuring, we are being denied our rights to uphold law...

The good folks of Redondo Beach are trying to preserve what is left of what was once a nice community. The ordinance was crafted to relieve them from the problems that result from small mobs of illegal aliens hanging out in public places. The judge has in effect told the citizens that their streets and businesses to NOT belong to them.

Some animals are more equal then others. These people are just taking jobs and committing crimes that americans will not. You must not have a heart if you cant find a place for these illegal criminals to commit more crimes.

Afterall its not like they can commit these crimes in their home country. They would be locked up in jail and how would they make their country a better place or support their families if they were not allowed to commit crimes here in America. In the name of diversity America must becoma a dual language nation and we need a civil war between the hispanics and the blacks(whitey might have to help the blacks some). Coming soon to a neighborhood near you.

Neuvo Tijuana!! Keep your pets inside and invest in ice cream and taco carts. I crack up when I see these carts being pushed around neighborhoods I grew up in Neuvo Vegas.

Then the problem is with illegal aliens, not people soliciting work. Asking for a job shouldn't be illegal. Their being here illegally is the issue to be addressed.

All public land including public streets and sidewalks have a defined purpose. An Air Force Base has a defined purpose. The White House has a defined purpose. A fire house has a defined purpose. Just because some land is "public," that ought not convey the right to any member of the public to use that land as he pleases.

I assume that if people wished to have sex on "public streets and sidewalks," and some judge ruled that such people could not restrained by the government, you would have a problem with such a ruling. No?

Soliciting sex is called prostitution, which is illegal.

The intent of this ordinance is to rid the streets of illegals, pure and simple.

The City is too scared to enforce existing loitering laws for fear of being sued for profiling.

IMO, the law prohibiting someone from accepting a job offer on public property is unconstitutional.

In my example, I wasn't talking about soliciting. I was talking about performing.

IMO, the law prohibiting someone from accepting a job offer on public property is unconstitutional.

So maybe you could tell us which provision in the Consitution you think such a State (local) law would violate.
