yeah, buddy! Amen. 'Bout time we told the teachers we ain't all dim (pun intended...didn't say it was a GOOD pun).
The teachers in this country are not the problem, but they are coopted by a national union which sets standards and direction. Look-say, outcome based education, etc. The fish is rotting from the head. Most school teacher in Texas seem to agree with this. I think the teachers need to take bach their union with conservative leadership and right the sinking ship. They can do it, but it would require a massive rebellion at the foot soldier level.
