President Bush welcomed members of the Jewish community today during a ceremony marking the beginning of Hanukkah. The President also met with members of the Social Security Trustees in the Oval Office, and later told the media that tax hikes on social security are not an option. Bush also announced the nomination of Ambassador Jim Nicholson as the Secretary of Veterans Affairs. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Hey. How are you doing? We had another friend to die. He had been a friend for many years. One of the Greatest Generation--WW 11 vet. His funeral is Saturday morning. He will be missed. When the phone rang yesterday and I saw who was calling, I knew it was about this friend or his wife. I just knew it and I was right. Has that happened to you? Merry Christmas.
