Pornography isn't a prerequisite for violence. As I recall, Hitler tried to curb pornography, or anything remotely "decadent", in Nazi Germany. You should also keep in mind that Ted Bundy knew who his audience was in that last interview. He quite likely tried to tell Dr. Dobson just what he wanted to hear.
