Go ahead, filter your news through the NY Times and I through FreeRepublic.com. Who do you think has more credibility, careful....
Take the MSM completely out of it and you still need the whole story which you do not have. If you choose to focus on this scumbag reporters story as complete you will be left in the same position viewers were left with when Dan Rather claimed he had a big story. My best answer to you is to back all the way up to the source of the problem if there is one. 87 BILLION dollars were allocated for the military and the war, what has taken place and what will take place with that money. What happened to the military before in the Clinton era and its effects on todays military. It could never should be as simple as one biased story seeking reporters claim. Last, during WWII would we have broadcast this information to Hilter?

Last, during WWII would we have broadcast this information to Hilter? So I take it by your statement you support government control of the media in certain cases. Yep, that's a conservative position... In no instance is it acceptable unless Congress, and not the President, suspends habeas corpus and the First Amendment. And this would only be in the direst of emergencies. Is fighting a third world power a dire emergency now? Also, fighting an industrialized nation and fighting a third world nation are a world of difference. Do you somehow not think the terrorists knew about these flaws before they came to light in this question and answer session?
