"December 9, 2004 -- A tragic drunken brawl between two brothers on Long Island left one sibling stabbed to death and the other under arrest for the slaying, cops said yesterday.
Robin Alvarado, 17, was arrested at the brothers' Flanders home Tuesday at around 10:30 p.m., shortly after he allegedly took a kitchen carving knife and plunged it into the buttocks of his brother Marvin, 22.
Both men were so drunk that apparently neither was aware the knife had severed an artery, causing the victim to bleed to death, according a third brother, Fermin, 24, who was not involved.
The mortally wounded brother was rushed to Central Suffolk Hospital in Riverhead, where he was pronounced dead.
