The 108th Congress passed into history Wednesday after dealing with one last piece of business, freeing up money for a program that links schools and libraries to the Internet.
The 109th Congress convenes on Jan. 4.
Good riddance to Tom Daschle.
Some years ago, before 1997, the schools were being wired for computers. Wonder just what they are passing this money for.
