I met Lynn Swann at a rally for President Bush in Pittsburgh last summer. He is definitely a class act who could knock out that bum rendell.
I was sitting behind Swannie during the President's speech in Latrobe/Pittsburgh - he was really funny in the half hour or so that Bush was running late (he made an unscheduled stop to meet with the families of flood victims) - he just had to keep talking, and I think he sang and danced a bit didn't he?
At one point, he took questions from the crowd - he seemed really comfortable up there in front of the microphone, and really connected with the people. He was sitting next to Arnold Palmer, and after the speech, Bush shook all of our hands, and Palmer took off, but Lynn stood up there with the rest of us, talking and signing autographs. Top of the line guy.
